(ii) The property by which it is possible is Compressibility. Gases are highly compressible and because of this, they can be transferred from a large cylinder to a small cylinder.
(iii) The property because of which liquids and gases can spread is the Kinetic energy of the particles. Gaseous particles have the maximum kinetic energy and liquids are having lesser kinetic energy than gases but they have more kinetic energy than solids and because of kinetic energy in particles they can travel large distances.
