Copper is mainly found in Juhujhunu and Alwar districts (Rajasthan), Balghat district (Madhya Pradesh), Singbhum district (Jharkhand). In addition small deposits are found in Karnataka, Gujrat, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya,Maharashtra, West Bengal and Bihar,
Some of the uses of Copper are :

  2. Due to its high ductility, it is used for industrial purpose. It is commonly used in shipbuilding.
