- The legislative assembly of Sikkim consist of not less than thirty-two members
- The national parties of Sikkim include Bharatiya Janata Party, Communist Party of India (Marxist) and Sikkim Pradesh Congress Committee (SPCC)
- The state parties include Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) and Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF)
- In 2020, Sikkim Krantikari Morcha is a political party that is currently the ruling party of the state.
