Write critical appreciation of poem silver

Solution
The poem, 'Silver' written by Walter de la Mare, appreciates the allure of the glistening stars and the moon at night. The night gives everything a silvery look. When the stars appear through the branches of a tree, it appears as if the tree bears silver fruits. Similarly, the silver beam on a slumbering dog makes it seem as if the paws of the dog are made of silver. The feathers of the doves and the claws and eyes of the mice have a silvery look. The stream in which the fish reside, as well as its surrounding reeds also look as if they are silver-coated. All of this represents the beautification of nature, which the poet describes aesthetically.
