3.a) if force is doubled while keeping the area constant then pressure will also be doubled.
$$\begin{gathered} as we know, \\ pressure,P=\frac{F\left(force\right)}{A\left(area\right)} \\ P\propto F \\ if F is doubled then pressure will also doubled. \end{gathered}$$

b) if force and area both are tripled then pressure remains constant.
$$\begin{gathered} we know, \\ P=\frac{F}{A} \\ for this case, \\ P=\frac{3F}{3A}=\frac{F}{A} \end{gathered}$$
c) if area is doubled while keeping the force constant then pressure will be halved.
$$\begin{gathered} we know, \\ P=\frac{F}{A} \\ so,P\propto \frac{1}{A} \\ for this case, \\ P\propto \frac{1}{2A} \\ so,pressure will be halved. \end{gathered}$$ Regards
