write the central idea of the poem fire and ice?

The central theme of the poem is all about relationships among one another. The poet tries to tell us how these relationships can end with fire like emotions (jealousy, anger, hatred, lust, greed, avarice, fury,) as well as with ice like emotions (cruelty, intolerance, coldness, insensitivity, ignorance, indifference, conflict, rigidity).  He also tells us to bring about peace and harmony in the world and to live and let others also live in peace.
