Write the central idea of the poem the last bargain

Dear Student,

As he walks by the seaside, the narrator sees the sun shining on the sand and the waves breaking haphazardly on the shore. He comes across a child playing with shells. The child seems to recognise him and offers to hire him with nothing more than goodwill and cheer. He has nothing to give him in material terms. The narrator accepts the agreement that makes him feel free and content. The poem describes the narrator’s quest to strike a bargain while he is looking for work. It underlines that the worth of freedom is more than power, money or beauty.
