They are helpful in transporting agricultiral produce to local markets

Metallic roads are made of cement. On other hand Non metallic roads are made of soil. Metallic roads are all weather roads. On other hand Non metallic roads flows away afterwards rain. Metalled roads are commonly found in urban areas and are all-weather roads. Whereas un-metalled are found in rural ares and can't be used during rainy season. In India Golden Quadrilateral Super Highway, National Highways, State highways and most of the District roads are Metalled
