Write the properties of a magnet?

The properties of magnets are:-
1.Like poles will repel each other
2.Unlike poles will attract each other.
3.Magnets attract magnetic objects like cobalt,nickel,iron,etc.
4.Magnetic force is more at its poles
5.A freely suspended magnet will point towards north and south directions.

There are three properties of a magnet and they are as follows:
1] Attractive property: A magnet attract magnetic substances towards it. This property is called attractive property of the magnet.
2] Directive property : A freely suspended magnet always rests pointing in the  north-south direction . This property of a magnet is called its directive property.
3] Attraction and Repulsion property: When the poles of two magnets are bought close to each other , they exert force on each other. Like poles repel each other and          unlike poles attract each other this property of a magnet is known as its attraction and repulsion property of a magnet.
