a. When the microbe attacks the lungs.
b. When the virus enters the liver.

a. When a microbe such as bacteria attacks the lungs, a disease called tuberculosis occurs. Symptoms of tuberculosis are fever, cough, pain in the chest and loss of weight, excessive fatigue, failure of appetite, night sweating.
b. When a virus attacks the liver, a disease called viral hepatitis occurs. Symptoms of viral hepatitis include fever, anorexia, vomiting, pains in joints and muscles. The liver becomes smaller, yellowish or greenish in later stage.
