Dear Sister,

I received your mail a few days back but could not reply as I was little busy. I would like to share with you how I met with an accident some time back. It so happened that I was going to the library to return some books. My friend, Sumedha, was also with me. We were walking on our side when suddenly a bike came rushing towards us. We saw that a young boy was driving, and an elderly man was sitting behind him. It seemed as if he was learning to drive the bike. We were sure that he will slow down as there was little traffic at the point where we were walking but, to our surprise, nothing of that sort happened. The boy lost control over the vehicle and rammed into us. First, my friend was hit and then it was me. I jumped towards the footpath and so nothing much happened to me. There were just some scratches on both legs. But unfortunately, my friend got badly hurt. Both her legs got fractured and she had injuries on her face as well. It was a terrible experience for me and my friend. Though, now it has been almost two months, my friend has still not recovered completely. She is at home and would be able to join college only after a week. I wish she gets well soon and is able to resume her normal life.
