 Monday, 22September, 20xx.

 9 P. M.

 Dear Diary,

 Today has been the happiest day of my life. Guess who I bumped into at the mall: none other than M S Dhoni! I am such a big fan that I started blabbering when I saw him in front of me. He was on a promotional tour in support of an NGO that helps orphans. I happened to be the 100th person entering that mall in the morning and was declared the lucky one to accompany Dhoni to meet the Indian Cricket team.

 He took me in his car and we chatted the whole way to the ABC stadium. I told him I was a great admirer of his batting, wicket-keeping and his composure. He was polite and friendly. He answered all my queries regarding his career and future tours. At the stadium, I was made to pad-up and given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of playing with the national team. I stared open-mouthed at Virat and Sachin. Everybody was very kind to me and we took lots of pictures. It was the best day ever!

 I do not think I can sleep tonight because of my exciting experience.
