Subject: Complaint regarding an electric iron

Sir,
I have received an electric iron, Philips KY214, that I ordered from your store on 1st June, 2019. I am very sorry to say that the electric iron is in a very bad condition. The cord of the iron is broken and the heating plate has lots of scratches. The product seems to be a used one. I am highly disappointed because of this.

I am returning this iron in its original condition in which I have received it. Your store is known for its reputation and credibility. I request you to replace this damaged iron with a new one. In the past also, I have purchased many products from your store but this kind of thing has never happened. I am sure you will look into this matter and resolve it at the earliest.  

I am looking forward to an early reply from your end. I hope to receive a new electric iron in perfect condition. Please replace it at the earliest and oblige.
