you are provided with the mixture of sand salt and oil and water how will you separate salt sand and oil from the mixture

Dear student
Oil and water are immiscible liquids that is they do not mix with each other. Hence, they can be separated by sedimentation and decantation. When a mixture of oil and water is allowed to stand for some time, two separate layers
are formed. Oil being lighter forms the top layer, while water being heavier forms the bottom layer. Oil can be separated by decantation.

Then  filter the mixture. Sand will filter out and filtrate will contain salt and water.
Then evaporate the mixture up to dryness to get salt from water.

First we will separate the sand and salt by the process of sedimentation in there the component settles down.

Then we will separate the mixture of oil and water with the help of a process called decantation in this the lighter component is the poured into another vehicle without disturbing the heavier component and hear the heavier component of water and the lighter components oil so we can easily separate them by the process of decantation.

Now we will use sublimation for separating the salt and water this is the process in which the liquid is separated from the soluble salt solution by evaporating its liquid and condensation of its vapour into another vessel liquid in this first we will evaporate the liquid and then we will use condensation to get our water back into another vessel
