Dear XYZ,

First of all I thank you for the lovely birthday gift. I was elated after receiving it. It was really so nice to hear from you after such a long time. I had a hectic schedule this week, so could not write back to you. Anyway now I am dropping you few lines. I have something wonderful to share with you.

  You will be amazed to know that I celebrated my birthday in an orphanage this time. It was really wonderful and totally different experience for me. This time I did not want any hullaballoo at house as granny is not well. So I decided to spend some time with those poor children who do not have anyone to call as their own. In our locality there is an orphanage and I chose that place for celebrating my day. I took several snacks, some new clothes and lot of chocolates for them. While I was distributing them the delicious food, I could feel the happiness in their eyes. I too was contented on my part. After the distribution, I played with them. I shared their happiness and pain. Many of them told me stories of fairies, kings and emperor. I could make an idea about their dream and requirements from their words. Dad also made arrangements for lunch there. We all dined together. In the evening I came back home with lots of wonderful memories. A birthday celebration could not have been better than this! I am really feeling great after sharing my joy with you.
