Subject: Request for improving facilities for tourists in Kashmir

Being heavily concerned about the limited development of the tourism industry in Kashmir, I would like to draw your attention to the need for improving facilities for tourists to promote tourism in this state.

We all know Kashmir was an important place for tourism in India. Unfortunately for the last two decades, there is turmoil in the state which has badly affected tourism. Since things have started coming back to normalcy again, I feel that it is the right time for the government to actively engage in promoting this beautiful destination as a favorable tourist spot.

Along with making people aware of the beautiful landscapes of the state, mainly through media, improvising on the facilities for tourists can be of great help.  It would be a good idea to enhance connectivity between other states and Kashmir by way of air, road and rail services. The government can also work upon enhancing security in major tourist spots, so that the tourists feel more secure while visiting these places.

I hope the above-mentioned suggestions would help you in attracting more tourists to this beautiful state. I appreciate your patience in reading this letter.
