today was the most memorable day of my life. Today we had the elections for the selection of the class representative of the students' council. I had prepared a speech for it but I was really very nervous. I had been putting in a lot of effort in it from the past few days. When my name was called, I almost went blank. Then my friends cheered me up and tried to boost up my confidence. I felt very good and delivered my speech very confidently. Everyone present there appreciated my performance and wished me good luck for the result. At last, I was adjudged the best of all and was selected as the class representative. My friends congratulated me and I also thanked them for trusting and supporting me.
