- It could be that he cannot afford to buy the book and just wants to pick it up from the school library; or it could be that he has to complete an urgent project by referring to that book and thinks he can put it back later.
- Whatever may be the reason, if the student has slipped in the book into his bag without getting it issued from the library, clearly his intentions are not right.

- Without making noise, I will go upto him and tell him that he must get the book issued and not take it without informing the librarian.
- I will explain to him that his action cannot be explained in any other way than stealing.
