Your school has vacancies of teacher. The eligible staff has already been promoted to some posts. Still some vacancies are left. Explain any four sources of reqruitment which you will use for filling up the these vacancies.

In the given situation the vacancies can be filled up through external sources. The following are four external sources of recruitment.

1. Advertisement: The school authorities can place an advertisement in the leading newspapers providing the necessary details of the vacancies. The interested candidates can then apply for the openings.

2. Casual callers: Sometimes job-seekers submit their applications with the organisations even when no vacancies have been announced. The authorities can now contact the candidates from the database of  such unsolicited applications.

3. Placement agencies: Employment exchanges would act as a link between the school authorities and the prospective candidates. The school authorities can place their vacancy requirements with one or more placement agencies. The agencies in turn, would inform the candidates regarding the vacancies. The interested candidates can then apply for the job openings. At times, the agencies can also recommend suitable candidates to the school authorities.

4. Recommendations: The authorities can ask for recommendations for suitable candidates from the existing staff in the school.
