youth -its problems and solutions speech

“Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, quality of the imagination, vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.” This is Youth in words of Samuel Ullman.
According to the latest UN Report, “With 356 million 10-24 year-olds, India has the world's largest youth population despite having a smaller population than China”. This is the strength of India – the youth. Youth is that age of our life when we are all set with senses, our foundation firm enough to stand straight and create the world with our learning. At the same time it is the age when we are the most vulnerable to our environment, to its pros and cons. The kind of environment we live in effects and shapes our personality and that affects the country as a whole.
Youth is a community or a group of people who are the future bearers of the country. But can we actually find our country safe in the hands of the youth? Do you think that our country will boom with the present youth? Unfortunately, entirely relying upon the youth of our nation would not be sensible enough. The problems that we generally face with the youth are not one but many. The biggest devil that prevails in the current scenario is “procrastination”. The youth today has made it habitual to procrastinate and postpone the things and matters. This is generally out of laziness and inattentive attitude. To overcome this problem the youth needs to be more vigilant and alert. They should become more attentive and concerned about their environment and country. “Do now or never” should be the call of the hour. The youth needs to understand that they are blessed with enormous pool of energy and creative. Necessity is to utilize this latent talent in the right direction and the right format.
