Assessment of Speaking and Listening Skills (for Classes 9, 10 and 11)

cbse aslWe are happy to announce a free ASL (Assessment of Speaking and Listening Skills) course for our students of Classes 9, 10 and 11.

Following are some of the points that we can add as the information in the blog:

> Out of 100 marks, 20 marks have been allocated to ASL tests. There is a separate examination conducted for ASL in SA I and SA II for class IX and X.

> For class XI, the test is conducted along with mid term and end term examinations.

> The topics covered in the test are: Life Skills, Social Media, Education System, E-learning, E-books, Travelling, etc.

Assessment of Speaking and Listening Skills

The Central Board of Secondary Education launched a project called Assessment of Speaking and Learning skills to develop oral/aural skills in English among students of class 10 in the session 2013-2014.  The implementation of the project received appreciation from teachers, parents and students across country.

The project mainly targets the co-scholastic development of every student. The implementation of the project helped students develop skills in comprehension and verbal abilities with respect to English language.

Taking into account the innovative step undertaken by CBSE, Meritnation offers expert – certified tests for ASL. The test papers and sample papers aim to develop and strengthen the understanding of topics mentioned in the syllabus. Consequently, the students score much better in their final assessment.
