CBSE 2018 Class 12 Accountancy: Board Paper Solutions & Analysis

The CBSE Class 12 Accountancy Board exam was held on 15th March 2018. Here’s an analysis of the CBSE Board Paper: Accountancy 2018 by our experts at Meritnation.

Overall, the paper was not very difficult, though it did have some tricky questions like Q 11, 12, 16, 22. Out of a total of 23 questions, 10 questions were easy and direct, 8 were average and 5 questions were of above average level. If we talk about the difficulty level (in terms of marks) then, around 36% of the paper was easy, more than 37% was average and approx 26% was difficult.

In comparison with the question paper from 2017, all the sets of this year’s paper had the same set of questions. Lastly, if we analyse the paper in terms of time constraint, the paper was lengthy and students may have had a tough time attempting the complete paper.
