CBSE announces Expression Series on Celebrating our Independence Day

CBSE Independence DayThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is organising Expression Series on Celebrating Our Independence Day to mark the 70th Independence Day of the country. The series will be held from 13 -16 August, 2016.

Participation in the competition is voluntary and will be held in three categories. The competition is open for all students under CBSE under three categories: classes 1 to 5, classes 6 to 8 and classes 9 to 12.

Students can submit their entries as essays, drawings or poems. Entries may be submitted using any of the three following modes:

a) Online mode through the link to be made available on cbseacademic.in

b) Uploading only the jpeg/ jpg/ doc file of the entry through the link to be made available on cbseacademic.in

c) Mobile App using the numbers

For Classes VI to VIII 7065963926

For Classes IX to XII 7065963927

The best 36 entries, 12 in each category, will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 2,500 and a Certificate of Merit. All participants will get an online  Certificate of Participation.

    is it necessary that cbse students can only participate?

    For drawing, can we see from the any source and draw or is it compulsory for us to draw on our own?
