The Economics Board exam for CBSE Class 12 was held today. Here is an analysis of the paper from our Economics expert at Meritnation:
The paper of Economics generally tends to be stressful for students as it can be lengthy and tricky in nature. However, most of the students would be relieved and happy with this year’s Economics paper as it was an easy and scoring one.
All the questions were from the syllabus as prescribed by CBSE. Talking about difficulty level, out of total 24 questions 3 questions were difficult, with 13 easy and 8 moderate questions. The paper was more or less easy as most of the questions were direct in nature.
There were questions which required graphs such as Q no. 7, 9, 19,20, 24, etc. We hope you drew the diagrams and explained them as well. A change was observed in the marks allocated to numerical questions with 22 marks of numerical questions in this year’s paper.
Lastly, if we analyse 2019’s paper on an over all basis, we can say that the paper was quite easy, though it did have some mind twisting questions like Q 6, 22 and 24.
