CBSE Board Exams 2019: Class 12 Accountancy

The CBSE Board exam for Class 12 Accountancy was conducted on the 6th of March, 2019. Here’s an analysis of the paper by our experts at Meritnation.

Overall, the paper was of average difficulty, though it did have some confusing questions like Q 11, 15, & 17. Out of a total of 23 questions, 11 questions were easy and direct, 9 were average and 3 questions were of above average level.

If we talk about the difficulty level (in terms of marks) around 28% of the paper was easy, more than 48% was average and approx. 22% was difficult. On comparing 2019’s paper with that of 2018, in this year’s paper, all the sets had at least 9 different questions and there were more internal choice questions present than last year.

Lastly, if we analyse the paper in terms of time constraint, we can say that indeed the paper was lengthy and students must have had a tough time in finishing on time.
