After the three Main Exams, CBSE conducted the fourth main exam for Class 10, the Maths Board Exam today, on March 12.

This is for the first time that the board organized the Maths exam with two options, one being the easy paper i.e. Basic, and the other with a higher difficulty level i.e. Standard. In this article, we are presenting the analysis of Class 10 Standard Maths Board Paper 2020.

There was a major change in the Maths paper pattern this year, there were 20 questions of 1 mark each, however, the number of three and four mark questions were less, whereas there were only 6 one mark questions in the last years’ paper.

In terms of difficulty level, this year’s Mathematics paper was easy to medium for the students. Most of the questions were from the NCERT, NCERT Exemplar textbook and the sample papers issued by CBSE. There was no question that can be considered as a tricky one.

According to our subject experts, in comparison to the previous years’ question papers, this years’ question paper was far better and easy to attempt. Many similar questions were already answered by the Meritnation experts or were covered in the live classes.

For students who were thorough with the basic concepts and had practiced well, this paper was an absolute cakewalk. This year, we can expect a lot of students scoring full marks.
