The CBSE Board Social Science exam for grade 10 was conducted today. This was the last paper in the series of important subjects in class 10.

The social science paper was according to the CBSE guidelines and was of average difficulty level. The examination paper was extremely direct and easy.

To begin with, Section-A had easy to attempt questions. Section-B offered many direct questions and one source-based question. These questions needed a thorough reading of the NCERT books. Questions such as judicious use of resources, features of secularism, etc. needed direct answers with clear concepts.

Section-C had some average questions which were time-consuming as descriptive writing was required in the answers. Map-based questions from Section-D were also rather straight-forward.

This years’ question paper was similar to the previous years’ paper in terms of difficulty. All the questions were based on familiar topics from NCERT. So, the students who would have studied the NCERT book and revised all the important topics and concepts thoroughly would have completed their paper successfully within the given time frame.

Meritnation’s Ask & Answer provided solutions to almost 80% of the questions asked. Overall, it was an easy end to the board exams for class 10 students.
