The most awaited and highly prepared-for board exam, Mathematics, was conducted today. The CBSE Class 12 Maths paper seemed to be of moderate difficulty level. To everyone’s surprise, the exam turned out to be easier as the questions were directly based on the NCERT textbook.

There was a major change in the Maths paper pattern this year, there were 20 questions of 1 mark each, however, the number of four and six mark questions were less.

Approximately 30 marks were attributed to the easy questions that brought joy to the students in the examination halls! A few questions were lengthy and tricky, but all in all, it was a balanced paper.

The question paper contained many internal choices that allowed flexibility in writing the solutions. Meritnation’s Ask and Answer forum already provided answers to approximately 90% of the questions that were asked in the exam.

The exam was an absolute no-brainer to those students who had well-revised their basics and had a grip over the concepts and calculations.

To conclude, the CBSE Class 12 Maths board exam was a well-balanced paper, and this year, we can expect a lot of students scoring good marks.
