dragon-ballMany students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 Maths Board Exam have alleged that the question paper was leaked. However, the Board officials and teachers have denied these claims.

Parents and students from Ranchi, Dhanbad and Chakradharpur claimed that question paper was leaked on WhatsApp a day before the exam. Students alleged that many questions and their sequence were similar to a question paper which was leaked on WhatsApp. Urging the Board to cancel the test, many parents & students alike also claimed that touts were selling 51 questions and answers near the exam centres on Sunday.

Despite the claims of the aggrieved parents, only 14 questions have tallied with those in the actual maths paper. Teachers have also asserted that several sample questions had been released by the Board before the exam and students mistook it as a leak.

Earlier, CBSE students and teachers alleged that Maths paper was extremely tough. Students complained that even one mark questions were too lengthy. They also demanded Board to retest the exam.

The Human Resources Development Minister, Smriti Irani clarified hours later that the ministry had examined reports of the paper being available in advance to students in Ranchi and Dhanbad and found that the allegations were incorrect.

After a petition running on the technology platform Change.org by students to give grace marks and be lenient in checking, everybody awaits the decision to be taken by the CBSE on the matter.

No CBSE question papers can’t be leaked. They’re reputed.
