CBSE Declares Class 12 Compartment Exam Results

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the result of compartmental examination for class 12 for 2015. Results can be checked on their official site at this link: http://cbseresults.nic.in/comp/cbse12c.htm.

The Board conducted the exam on July 16, 2015. More than 90,000 students appeared for class 12 compartment exams for the year 2014-2015.

Procedure to Check CBSE Class 12 Compartment Exam 2015:

1. Visit the official site http://cbseresults.nic.in/comp/cbse12c.htm

2. Enter your roll number.

3. Click Submit to view your result.

About CBSE Compartment Exams:

In case a student fails to attain the minimum pass percentage for a subject in the exam, he or she needs to reappear for that subject(s) exam and clear it again. CBSE provides 5 chances to clear the compartment examination. Firstly exam is conducted in the July-August period, second is conducted in March-April and the third in July-August of the following year and so on. The candidate will be declared “PASS” provided he/she qualifies the compartmental subjects in which he/she had failed. The syllabi and course remains the same as applicable for the candidates of full subjects appearing at the examination in the year concerned. Any candidate who does not appear or fails the compartmental exams, will be required to reappear in all subjects. For subjects involving practical work, in case the candidate has passed the practical section, he/she shall appear only in theory part and previous practical marks will be carried forward and accounted for.
