CBSE-WWF Wildlife Quiz Competition Announced

WWF wild wisdom quizIn a joint project by the CBSE and WWF-India, bringing a ‘unique opportunity for students to delve deeper into India’s amazing wildlife’, is going to organize a wildlife quiz competition. The “Wild Wisdom Quiz” ‘aims to instill a sense of concern for the natural world and inspire our students to imbibe concern for conservation. The quiz has been recognized by CBSE as a CCE activity.’

The quiz will be conducted in three categories for students from classes 3 to 12. The Primary and Middle levels (for students of classes 3 to 8), the quiz will be conducted offline in 13 cities, whereas the Senior Level (classes 9 to 12) will participate in the online mode throughout India. The National Final event will take place in the Capital on 6 October, 2016.

The theme for the 2016 Wild Wisdom Quiz is ‘Evolution and Biodiversity’. In a circular issued by the Board, the last date for registrations is 31 July, 2016. Students may register by paying a one-time registration fee of Rs. 100. Each participant will receive a participation certificate and a Wild Wisdom wristband. Top 3 National Level winners will get an amazing opportunity to visit a national park.
