Happy Teachers Day- A Tribute

Dear Teacher,

Our journey to this place, right here, right now, began with a great teacher,a teacher who recognized our need to live in the world of imagination and a world of science , maths and other disciplines . You alone were a person who encouraged us to lead us to wherever we are right now.

There is a Japanese proverb that says, “Better than a thousand days of diligent study is one day with a great teacher.” By the time we students graduate from high school, we would have spent about 10,000 hours at school being instructed by more than 30 teachers. That’s why almost each one of us has a teacher who has touched our lives.

As we write this open letter to you , we want to convey our sincere thank yous to you. Because it is you who influences us, guides us and sculpts our futures towards being what we become and feel proud of. Because it is teachers who devote their lives into giving us, the students, the tools to succeed and inspire us towards reaching our goals.

Every day millions of teachers like yourself are entrusted with the responsibility of teaching our nation’s children. We held your hands the first day of school ,it is you who listens to us, it is you who will show the next Zakhir Hussain how to be an ace musician or the next Kalpana to reach for the stars. It is you who challenges us, and encourage us to stand up for our values.

Being a teacher is a living testimony . To guide and embrace all the learners,awake their potentials and train them right. Being a teacher is courageous pledge to commit your lives, for the student’s of the nation and empower them. We’d like thank you for your countless hours, your sweat and tears, and your relentless commitment to us. We’d like to thank you in advance for inspiring the next generation because a teachers effects eternity, one never knows where his influence stops.
