All you aspiring doctors the month of AIPMT and other medical exams is approaching and now is the time to test your preparation levels.But many of the students still find it tough to plan their AIPMT preparation accordingly.

So, here are some essential AIPMT Biology preparation tips so you can prepare the entire syllabus of Biology for AIPMT.

In AIPMT, nothing is of more important than NCERT, but having said that there are many must read reference guides and books which are needed for a holistic preparation 

Tip #1  Chunk your AIPMT Syllabus and chapters in book according to the weightage in AIPMT. For Eg.

Chunk 1Must Do– Monera, Cell structure, photosynthesis, plant nutrition, genetics, plant morphology, plant kingdom etc.
Chunk 2– Should Do– Animal nutrition, animal reproduction & Development, Animal Respiration, Animal Tissues, Ecology, Biotechnology etc.
Chunk 3– Do Only if you have Ample Time – Biodiversity, animal kingdom from porifera to echinoderms, anatomy of flowering plants, growth repair and regeneration, origin of life, microbes etc.

And so on.

However, there have been more questions from the Human Physiology, Plant Physiology, Cell Biology, Ecology, Biomolecules, Biotechnology as per the questions asked in past years exams.

Tip #2  After completing every topic, the objective questions should be solved and students must go through the questions asked in previous year AIPMT exam from the same topic as it will give insight about the depth of the topic to be covered.

Tip #3 Solve as many questions as possible after completing a chapter as this will provide you with vast exposure of questions.And make notes about the question to memorise quickly .

Tip #4 Exhaustive and time consuming topics like Animalia and Plantae topic needs to be prepared more carefully. The main emphasis must be on the characters of Phylum in Non-Chordates and up to class level in Chordates. All examples given in the NCERT along with the common name (wherever given) should also be learnt.

Tip #5 Use bright markers and symbols to point out important notes, this helps during revision.
