- Human Resource Development - Human Resource Development (HRD) is the framework for helping employees develop their personal and organizational skills, knowledge, and abilities. Some of the objectives of financial management are to ensure regular and adequate supply of funds to the concern, adequate returns to the shareholders and the market price of the share, optimum funds utilization and to ensure safety on investment.
- Production and Operations Management - Production and operations management talks about applying management concepts in creation of goods and services. The set of interrelated management activities, which are involved in manufacturing certain products, is called as production management . If the same concept is extended to services management, then the corresponding set of management activities is called as operations management.
- Marketing Management - Marketing management is a business discipline which is focused on the practical application of marketing techniques and the management of a firm's marketing resources and activities.
- Management Information Systems (MIS)- A management information system (MIS) provides information that is needed to manage organizations efficiently and effectively. It encompasses three primary components: technology, people (individuals, groups, or organizations) and data/information for decision making.
- International Management - Deals in all areas of international trade and business.
- Public System Management - Management of public enterprises, non-government organizations and cooperatives.
- Technology Management - specializes in all aspects of technology utilization in other management fields, including finance and marketing.
- Hospital Management - Responsible for the efficient running of hospitals and health care organizations.
There are also some special areas for work in business management that are particular to the type of industry involved.
Fresh management graduates are usually recruited on-campus. Corporate organizations, multinationals, foreign banks and financial institutions woo students from top management schools with lucrative job offers during the course itself. Most of the major business schools have also initiated career placement schemes for the benefit of graduating students.

Delhi University BBA/BBS Entrance Test
Delhi University conducts a joint entrance test for admission into its BBA/BBS courses across various colleges.
- Eligibility Students appearing for this exam should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in class 12th.
- Test Pattern
This entrance examination includes five sections with a total of 150 questions. The duration of entrance examination is 2 hours. The written examination will cover the following subject areas -- General Awareness – 40 questions
- Business Aptitude – 20 questions
- Quantitative Aptitude – 30 questions
- Logical Reasoning – 30 questions
- Language and Comprehension – 30 questions
The candidates who clear the entrance examination will have to attend a Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The weightage for each stage in the selection process is as follows –- Written Test – 50%
- Interview – 20%
- Group Discussion – 10%
- Class 12th Marks – 20%

Common Entrance Test - Guru Gobind Singh Indraprashtha University
The Common Entrance Test (CET) is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for admissions to the various engineering, technological & management programmes (at the undergraduate and postgraduate level) it offers.
- Eligibility Applicants should have passed 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks.
- Test Pattern
The entrance test will be of two and a half hours consisting of objective type questions from the following sections:- English Language & Comprehension-(25%)
- General Awareness-(25%)
- Logical and Analytical Ability - (25%)
- Aptitude relating to the field of Management and communication skills

SET is an objective-type test of one and half hours duration. The questions are asked from the following sections:
