Subject-Verb Agreement Rules

A verb describes an action or a state of being. This action is performed by a subject (A Noun or a Pronoun) or the state of being is that of a subject. Hence, a verb must always agree with its subject, in person (First, Second and Third) and in number (Singular and Plural).
