Why is freshly prepared lime water used in experiment to test the evolution of carbon dioxide?
what is formed when KOH absorbs Co2 ?
means what is the reaction
please explain respiration process
the gas released from germinating seeds indicate that the seeds are:
(a) alive and decaying (b) alive and respiring (c) dead and decaying (d) alive and decomposing
I DONT UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF THE EXPERIMENT OF GERMINATING SEEDS..
DOUBT;: EVEN WHEN GERMINATING SEEDS ARE NOT PRODUCING CARBON DI OXIDE...IT IS PRESENT IN THE CONTAINER..SO THEN KOH WILL ABSORB THAT CO2
AND WILL CREATE LOW PRESSURE IN THE BEAKER.
AND I ALSO WANT TO ASK THAT DO THESE GERMINATING SEEDS INHALE OXYGEN...??
PLZ ANSWER FAST....I HAVE SCIENCE TEST TOMORROW
The refractive index of Air is shown as 1.0003. Here which is the rarer medium and which is denser?
in this experiment, the seeds need co2 for respiration.however,we need to close the flask.so how do the seeds get air for repiration?plz help!
Why germinating seeds are used to show that carbon dioxide is produced during respiration?
even pottasium is a good absorbant of co2 isnt it?
which part of the embryo remain pressed between the two cotyledons in a gram seed???
(A) hypocotyl (B) radicle (C) tegmen (D) plumule
how many of u interested in cricket .... & how many of u enjoyed the grand opening ceremony of cricket icc world cup yesterday ?????????
According to my point of view black paper will absorb more light. So, I think that indirectly the leaves will be in contact of sunlight........... Why wouldn't we have used white paper as, white cloths reflect sunlight...........
what is the reason for release of co2 from germinating seeds
How do we know that the germinating seeds giving out CO2?
why germinating not dry seeds
can yeast do anaerobic respiration in vaccum
can anyone tell me the school code of happy model school, janakpuri. and if you cant please tell me any roll no of happy model school of class x....thanx in advance......will give thumbs up
when are the stomata expected to be open in a plant like lily?
a) at night
b) in the day
c) on a cloudy day
d) a,b and c
wat r d experiments for biology sa2 ???
pls i need d answer fast :l
normally it is like co 2 is produced in the night by the plant or seeds and in the morning it absorbs co 2 . So is it the night time that the seeds are giving co 2 or is it the morning time ??
Are Practicals really that important? Could anyone please explain to mw the weightage and the marking schemes?
what is gnong's light screen? what is it's purpose in photosynthesis?
writ the relationship between diffrent units of each of the following (a)mass (b)area (c)volume (d)time

(b) What is the role of KOH solution used in this experiment?
Q.24.(a) An apparatus was set-up to show that germinating seeds release carbon dioxide during respiration. Which observation should be made to get correct results? Can you give reason for your observation?
(b) Can this experiment be carried out by using flower buds instead of germinating seeds? And why?
1.HCL
2.Lime water
3.Carbon dioxide
4.KOH

Q24. In the experiment to show CO2 is released during respiration, the partial vacuum is created. Explain why.
Q26. A student has to perform an experiment on tracing the path of a ray of light passing through a rectangular glass slab for three different angle of incidence. Two of his friends suggest the following options to him:
(A) Draw the incident rays corresponding to 20°, 50° and 70° as angles of incidence and fix the two pins on the incident ray just 2 cm apart.
(B) Draw the incident rays corresponding to 30°, 45° and 60° as the angles of incidence and fix two pins on the incident rays nearly 8 cm apart. Which is the better option he should follow?
Give reason in support of your answer.
