Beauty of shooting in Sweden
Bergman starts off by describing a film setting for the shooting of The Virgin Spring in Dalarna during May. Everybody was helping with the equipemt to themselves warm, when they suddenly spotted cranes flying in the sky. All the people left off their work to watch the beautiful flight in the sky. The author realised the beauty of shooting in Sweden, which transcends all the troubles they faced over equipment and money.
