Framton Nuttel moves to the ‘rural retreat’

Framton Nuttel suffered from severe anxiety and was of a nervous disposition. He moved to the rural area as part of his treatment to soothe his nerves. Fearing Framton would further isolate himself and not speak to anybody, his sister gave him letters of reference as introduction to people she knew. She said some of them were rather nice.
