1. Use mnemonics to remember points and keywords

Using mnemonics (words or phrases used to remember points better) makes it extremely easy for you to remember long lists, like names of metals from the periodic table and names of chemicals. Take out some time from your study schedule and jot down all the lists you came across while studying the previous chapters. When studying the chapters, keep noting down small points that can help you write long answers.

2. Work on perfecting diagrams

A major hindrance for many students preparing for their Science exam is drawing proper diagrams. Since diagrams help you score more marks, it is imperative that students know how to draw flawless diagrams. Here are some hacks!

a. Make your own drawing equipment: Since most diagrams require horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines, you could stick a scale and a set-square together with plastic adhesive tape. This would help you draw multiple lines one after the other, without moving things too much. Plus, this would give you perfectly symmetrical lines.

b. Carry the proper equipment: Carry pencils of varying thicknesses so that you may draw and sketch well. Make light strokes on the paper, so that erasing errors does not leave marks behind.

c. Look for actual images of your diagrams while practising drawing them. It gives you a better visual, which means you can draw the diagram better.

3. Solve a sample paper daily

Since the science exam for CBSE Science also consists of many numerical questions, make sure you are in touch with the topics on a regular basis. Practice using a sample paper, previous year board paper or NCERT questions in order to know the syllabus well.
