According to a recent Google surveys, maximum hits of around 44% were on IT and Vocational Courses. Also, it was observed that there is a 20% increase in students who are aspiring for Vocational Courses. Keeping these points in mind, Central Board of Secondary Education has recently introduced around 40 Vocational Courses under the following domains:

  • Commerce
  • Health and Paramedical
  • Hospitality and Tourism
  • Engineering and Technology
  • Agriculture
  • Generic Professional Course
To help the CBSE students chose the best Vocational Course according to their interest and future career plans, some of the courses from the respective domains are explained below:

1. Banking:

One of the most sought out career option these days is in the banking sector. With the vocational course Banking under the Commerce domain, CBSE students will get the idea and also the exposure of working in the banking sector. Various fundamentals of banking such as handling of negotiable instruments, deposits, accounting, etc. are very effectively taught to students along with imparting a sound knowledge of finance and management.
