sir/mam can u give me an in-depth explanation about the alkaline nature of alkyl and aryl amines,the extent of basic character,the order of their increase/decrease in basic character of amines,what makes amines behave as alkaline substances on the basis of inductive effect,resonance effect and steric hindrance,etc.
In a chemistry laboratory, two isomeric compounds (A and B) with molecular formula C7 H5 O4 N were isolated. It was found that the acidity of compound B was more than compound A. Also the dipole moment of compound B was zero.
(i) Give the structures of compounds A and B.
(ii) Give a synthetic route to obtain compound B from benzene.

How to prepare para-chloroaniline from p-chlorophenol
Why are arenediazonium salts stable for a short time?
for eg. what we've been taught is: RCOOH+ NH3-----------------------> RCONH2
But in the Meritnation solutions, Carboxylic acids are first chlorinated, and then ammonolysed.
eg. RCOOH + SOCl2--------------> RCOCl + NH3 ----------------> RCONH2
So is my procedure correct too?
Give a reaction of an amine with a carboxylic acid.
