    So, cost of $2\frac{1}{2}$ kg tomatoes = Rs 12 + Rs 12 +Rs 6

d) Cost of 1 kg potato  = Rs 10
    Cost of $\frac{1}{2}$ kg potato = Rs 10 ÷ 2
                                     = Rs 5

    Cost of  $2\frac{1}{2}$kg potato = Rs 10 + Rs 10 + Rs 5
                                       = Rs 25

e) Cost of 1 kg carrot  = Rs 18
    Cost of $\frac{1}{4}$ kg carrot = Rs 18 ÷ 4
                                     = Rs $\frac{18}{4}$

 Cost of $1\frac{1}{4}$ kg carrot = Rs 18 + Rs $\frac{18}{4}$
                                   = Rs $22\frac{1}{2}$

f) Cost of 1 kg gourd  = Rs 8
   Cost of $\frac{3}{4}$ kg gourd = Rs 6

   Cost of $4\frac{3}{4}$ kg gourd = Rs 8 × 4 + Rs 6
                                      = Rs 32 + Rs 6
                                      = Rs 38

g) Cost of 1 kg potato  = Rs 10
    Cost of $\frac{1}{4}$ kg potato = Rs 10 ÷ 4
                                     = Rs $\frac{10}{4}$

Cost of $2\frac{1}{4}$ kg potato = Rs 10 × 2 + Rs $\frac{10}{4}$

                                  = Rs $\frac{9}{4} \times 10$

                                  = Rs $\frac{45}{2}$

                                  = Rs $22\frac{1}{2}$
