    An imperative sentence is a sentence that gives advice or instructions or that expresses a request or command.

    Instances of the same are:

    - Get me some water.

    - Leave that cat alone.

    Affirmative sentence is a traditional grammatical term for any statement that is positive, not negative.

    Instances:

    - She has fallen down

    - They will go to visit the temple

    - I have an apple

    A negative sentence states that something is not true or incorrect. A negative adverb has to be added in order to negate the validity of the sentence.

    Instances,

    - I do not play guitar

    - They did not reach Goa

    Optative Sentences:To express wishes

    There are four types of sentences :-

    1) Assertive 

    there are further two type ---1) affirmative :- It is impossible.

                                                      2)negative     :- It is not possible.

    2) Imperative     ;- Bring me a cup of tea.

    3) Interrogative  :- What is your name ?

    4) Exclamatory  :- What a beautiful girl she is !
