WHY IS GROWTH INDEFINITE IN PLANTS?

    Dear student,
    Please find below the answer:

Growth in plants is indefinite because:

    • Plants are pluripotent and so they multiply randomly to produce more cells.
    • Also, they contain indeterminate meristematic tissue which continues its activity throughout the life of the plant.
    Hope this clears your doubt.
    Regards.
