Dear Uncle

How are you? I hope this letter finds you in the best of your health and spirits. Yesterday, when I got to know that you are not coming for my birthday party, I was very upset. I really wanted you and aunty to be there by my side while I blew out the candles on my birthday cake.

I enjoyed the party with my friends but I really missed you both a lot. Today, in the morning when I woke up, I found a gift on the side-table of my bed. I was surprised to see it as I had opened all the gifts brought by my friends at night only. I eagerly took the packet in my hand and saw your name written on it. When I opened it I found a Parker Roller Gel pen. My happiness and excitement knew no bounds as it was the the pen that I always wanted to possess. I will use this pen only to write my upcoming exams.

Thank you so much for this lovely gift. It will always be very close to my heart. Give my regards to aunty and love to my little sister. I'll be waiting for you to come to our place soon.
