JEE Advanced 2019 Result Declared!

Result for JEE Advanced 2019 for admission into the under-graduate courses in the IITs was declared by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee today morning. The JEE Advanced is the second leg of  exam for admission to the IITs. The first leg was the JEE Main conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Of the 2.5 lakh candidates who had qualified JEE Main this year, only 1.65 lakh students registered for JEE Advanced 2019.

JEE Advanced 2019 was conducted on 27th May in two shifts – Paper I (9 am – 12 noon) and Paper II (2 pm – 5 pm).

The All India Rank (AIR) of the qualified candidates (category-wise), Rank in Common Rank List (CRL), subject-wise scores, subject wise scores in both the papers – Paper I and Paper II, and total marks is displayed in the JEE Advanced 2019 result. To clear JEE Advanced 2019, a candidate should have scored at least 10 percent in each subject and an aggregate of 35 percent score.

To view and download the JEE Advanced 2019 result, a candidate who has appeared has to login onto the official JEE Advanced website using his/her credentials. However, due to some problem at the server end, the official website – https://jeeadv.ac.in/ continues to be down. [Last checked on 14th June at 16:45:00 hours]. Students have been advised to re-check after some time. All qualified candidates of the JEE Advanced 2019 examination would have also received a text message on their registered mobile number, after the declaration of the result. Reports suggest that about 38,705 candidates have cleared the exam.

The JEE Advanced Result forms the basis for admission into the 23 IITs for admission into the four year Undergraduate courses. Candidates can also apply for admission into Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Rae Bareilly (RGIPT), Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc), Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) and the six Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER).

Kartikey Gupta from Mumbai has secured All India Rank 1 in JEE Advanced 2019.  Himanshu Gaurav Singh from Allahabad secured AIR 2 and Archit Bubna from New Delhi got AIR 3. Well done!
