The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially notified the dates for the 2016 November/December CA-CPT exams. The CA-CPT exam will be conducted on 18 December, 2016. The exam will be held in two sessions at 177 centres across the world from 10:30 AM to 04:00 PM (IST).
The Common Proficiency Test will be conducted in two session, i.e.,

10:30 AM – 12:30 PM (IST) Section A : Fundamentals of Accounting Section B : Mercantile Laws |
| Second Session (Afternoon) |
02:00 PM – 04:00 PM (IST) Section C : General Economics Section D : Quantitative Aptitude |
The Information Brochure containing the CA-CPT application form will also be available in the Regional and Branch Offices of the institute and can be obtained there from on cash payment on or from 6 October, 2016.
Last date of of submission of forms is 27 October, 2016.

I have still not received the letter from icai though i have registered for cpt exam 1 month back. What do i do?

The CPT is organized twice a year, in the months of June and December. The date of filling the exam form for the December attempt will commence from October 6, 2016 till October 27, 2016. Keep calm, the registration is yet to begin.
