Experts at Meritnation noticed that the paper was an average paper with some easy and straightforward questions. Most questions were direct. However, the numerical questions were a little tricky.
Trend of HOTS Questions– This year the number of and marks assigned to HOTS questions has reduced in the paper.
Chapterwise Marks Distribution– The chapter-wise weightage of both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics has remained the same with that of last year’s paper.
Proportion of Numericals- An increase has been observed in the marks distribution of numerical questions. That is, this year numerical questions accounted for 34 marks as compared to 19 marks in 2016.
