chemistry for aipmtThe AIPMT test consists of 45 questions from the subject Chemistry out of 180 questions. The subject should not be ignored as it might result in landing you a place in the prestigious medical colleges of the country. With dedicated efforts you ace the subject.

To help you score the maximum here, our experts have listed below the important topics and tips to ace the chemistry section in AIPMT 2016.

Why is Chemistry a scoring subject?

Chemistry is divided into three units, that are, Physical, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. You will be asked at least 12-13 questions from each unit. Although you’ll find that questions from the Inorganic Chemistry unit, are mostly direct and that if you can learn these chapters properly, you’ll be answering them easy-breezy. It might seem boring, but ignoring the unit can cost you.

Physical and Organic Chemistry will require regular practice. The level of difficulty of questions asked in Chemistry in AIPMT 2015 were of average difficulty. In Chemistry 29%, 51% and 20% of the questions were easy, average and difficult respectively.

As a medical aspirant the following information will prove helpful to you, in your journey to become a doctor.

Preparation for any entrance exam needs constant practice in a planned manner. Chemistry is one if the subject that has a very wide coverage of topics. While studying chemistry it is imperative to prepare ALL CHAPTERS. However, if we analyse the previous year question papers of AIPMT, the following trend could be observed.
