And since you obviously want to get as much study material as possible, it becomes a task to source books with such high prices. Hence, we came up with a list of sources you could get these books from for really great prices.
1. Online Sources
A good number of sites offer you individual or combination packs of books that you need for JEE prep. Apart from online shopping sites like Flipkart and Amazon that give you the best books, often at discounted rates, there are other sites that provide used/secondhand books for even cheaper. Madbooks.com, Indian Used Books and OLX are probably the most popular sites to buy JEE preparation books online.
The Benefits: Saving travel costs, lower prices, easy access to all books from different authors
2. Second Hand Stores
Find a place in your city that sells used books and explore the huge world of books existing there. Some of the popular old and used books markets are Darya Ganj and Nayi Sadak, in Old Delhi, Smoker’s Corner in Fort, The New & Second Hand Book Shop in Kalbadevi, Mumbai, Appasaheb Balawant Chowk (ABC) in Pune, KR Market and Avenue Road in Bangalore, and the renowned College Street in Kolkata.
The Benefits: Extremely inexpensive books, concession on larger buys
3. Libraries
If you do not wish to purchase books for JEE prep but still need to prepare as many textbooks as possible, what better way than going to a library! A public library in your city will hold as many JEE preparation books as you think are necessary to carry out a successful preparation.
The Benefits: Easy access to books categorically, relatively cheaper than buying books, get a place to study too
4. Books from Seniors
This is something you will have to plan a little in advance for. A lot of your seniors may also be preparing from JEE and other entrance exam study material.
